Thank you for your interest in supporting our research! 

Past contributions have helped to fund: 1) tablets for real-time cognitive measures, 2) equipment for physiological sampling, 3) hormonal analyses of saliva, and 4) voice recorders for interviews.

Donations by Credit Card

Donations by credit card can be made through the Northern Illinois (NIU) Foundation. The NIU Foundation is designated a non-profit under section 501(c)(3) as per letter ruling dated 1955. Click here for more information about the NIU Foundation.

1. If you would like to donate using a credit card, please click HERE to visit the NIU Foundation's donation page. 

2. In Step 1 ("Customize your gift"), click on Click here to search available designations...:

   • Select "BDSM Research Fund"

   • If you would like your name or your organization's name listed on our SPONSORS page, click on "Recognition, special instructions and other options", select "Special instructions for my gift", and describe how you or your organization would like to be listed.

3. Then press Your Information and enter your name, address, and credit card information.

Donations by Check

1. If you would like to donate by check, please send a check made out to the "Northern Illinois University Foundation." Please write "Department of Psychology, BDSM Research Team" on the memo line.

2. Please also send along a letter indicating that the funds are to support the work of Dr. Brad Sagarin's BDSM Research Team in the Department of Psychology.
